Injury Prevention continues to grow as a project as more local councils adopt the World Health Organisation's Safer Communities initiative.

WaterSafe Auckland now networks with health professionals, community groups, local body representatives and other injury prevention specialists as a member of the following injury prevention groups.

There are four Community Injury Prevention Projects (CIPP’s) run in the Auckland region, each with a number of working groups or networks which WaterSafe Auckland is involved in.
