Lifejackets

WaterSafe Auckland has a supply of lifejackets available to schools or organisations running In At The Deep End (all practical skills in In At The Deep End are completed in deep water wearing a lifejacket) or those wishing to extend their current aquatics education programme.

The lifejackets are hired at no charge, however a bond (refundable) is applicable to those not being hired for In At The Deep End. Please complete the Lifejacket Request Form (Word doc or PDF) for further details and to check availability.

Important:

  • The lifejackets are in high demand and subject to availability. Please ensure you submit your request well in advance.
  • All lifejackets are approved to NZ Standards. Please take note of the following specifications when calculating what sizes you require, i.e. weight.

Child Small (12-25kg), Child Medium (22-40kg),  Adult Sm/Med/Lge (40kg+).

Lifejacket Purchasing

For your own convenience you might like to consider purchasing lifejackets or buoyancy aids for your school or swim school. New Zealand's leading manufacturers and suppliers, Hutchwilco, RFD and Safety At Sea, had generously offered special prices for schools and swim schools wanting to purchase their own lifejackets or buoyancy aids. Please contact them directly to discuss your individual requirements.
