Where’s Harry – Safer Boating Week Competition Terms & Conditions

How to enter: 

  1. Every day during Safer Boating Week WaterSafe Auckland (WAI) will post a picture of ‘Harry’ at a secret location in the Auckland Region (Auckland City Council boundaries), on their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram profiles.
  2. To enter, ‘you’ must like Harry’s photo of the day then in the comments tell us where Harry is that day.
  3. A new photo will be posted each day of Safer Boating Week, eight in total.
  4. In your comment use the hashtags #Where’sHarry and #SaferBoatingWeek #lifejackets4life
  5. For tags to be valid you must ‘like’, ‘follow’ or ‘subscribe’ the respective social media account.
  6. Entries are limited to seven per person – one for each day / location of the competition.
  7. Eligible entries can be submitted anytime between Friday 14 October and Friday 21 October 2016 inclusive.
  8. For your entry to be valid you must correctly guess any or all of the seven locations.
  9. All correct entries will go into the draw to win the prize, to be drawn by WaterSafe Auckland.
  10. The prize consists of an RFD Cylcone Inflatable Lifejacket valued at approximately $100.

Terms & Conditions

  1. The promoter is WaterSafe Auckland, of 85 Westhaven Drive, St Mary’s Bay, Auckland.
  2. The competition is open to residents of New Zealand, except WaterSafe Auckland employees and their immediate family.
  3. There is no entry fee or purchase required to enter his competition.
  4. Information published by WaterSafe Auckland (WAI) on how to enter and win prizes forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Any entry not complying with these Terms & Conditions is invalid.
  5. This Competition is being held to promote Safer Boating Week 14-21 October 2016.

  16. The winner will be announced on, or before, Wednesday 26th October 2016.
  17. The winner will be notified via their channel of competition entry, with request for further contact details. If WAI has not received those details within five days of request, or if three reasonable attempts to contact the winner(s) have been made within three days after notification and the winner is still unavailable, the prize will be forfeited and another winner selected from eligible entries.
  18. By entering the competition ‘you’ are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Condition18. Prizes are not transferrable and not redeemable as cash, or any other goods or services.
  19. WAI’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered in to.
  20. WAI reserves the right to extend, cancel or amend this competition at any time.
  21. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to WaterSafe Auckland and not to any other party.
