Congratulations to Auckland North on achieving re-accreditation as a Pan Pacific Safe Community.
This reinforces the ongoing promotion of a culture of safety and the prevention of injuries across all ages, environments and situations.
It recognises the efforts of organisations and individuals whose efforts, collboration and commitment to the community have made this possible.
Safer North, Auckland North’s Community Injury Prevention Coalition, hosted the re-accrditation ceremony on Monday 23 September at Massey Campus, Albany.
It comprises key stakeholders from organisations across the health, safety, crime prevention and injury prevention sectors.
Auckland North, formerly North Shore City, was designated as a Safe Community in 2007, the 6th community in New Zealand to achieve this status.
