Tēnā Koutou, Talofa lava, Malo e lelei, Huānyíng and welcome to our new website.  We hope it enables you to navigate easily to what you seek in terms of our programmes and services, our resources and learning materials and the information and research that guides our approach.

We would also appreciate your feedback and ask that you help us spread the word about water safety and what WAI can do for you. In particular, we’d ask you to visit our Facebook page and ‘like’ us; sharing with us what you are doing in the water safety space. With everyone’s collective effort we can push the region and the country toward the top of the world league in drowning prevention and work toward an aquatically confident New Zealand, free from drowning.

We’d also like to thank everyone for the pictures and participation in our #wearit4work initiative. It helped get Safer Boating Week off to a good start, which is likely to become an annual event as everyone prepares for getting out, in, on, under and around our beautiful waters.

Together we can crack it, WaterSafe for everyone.

Thanks
